RTL News
Welcome to the first monthly newsletter from Right to Love (RTL)
RTL raises awareness of child/partner psychological abuse in the context of parental seperation. Our leaflet provides a brief overview of this issue for busy professionals and families.
Some refer to “parental alienation” but we have outlined Why Right to Love Doesn’t Use the Term as we believe it is unnecessarily leading to difficulties securing mental health solutions.
In October we recognised the first Child Psychological Abuse Awareness Day – 10th October.
We have also started our series looking at the concept of “good enough” parenting which RTL believes is key to assessing parents when making decisions as important as if a parent/child bond should be permanently severed. The first in the series looks at Good-enough Parenting: Where did the term come from?.
